Conservation of Heritage Buildings
Since the New Block would provide adequate space for operational needs, it was reckoned that the heritage buildings in the hospital campus, i.e., the Main Block and Nurses’ Quarters Block A, would be conserved in the foreseeable future. Technical assessments and necessary preventive measures would be carried out to ensure the building structure would not be affected by the redevelopment works.
