Special Visiting Arrangement under Emergency Response Level

In accordance with the Hong Kong Government's Preparedness Plan, the HA has implemented measures for the Emergency Response Level.

The HA has implemented special visiting arrangement in infirmary hospitals with effect from 21 April 2021 and initially covers 8 hospitals:

Wong Chuk Hang Hospital
Hong Kong West Cluster Fung Yiu King Hospital
Kowloon East Cluster Haven of Hope Hospital
Kowloon Central Cluster Hong Kong Buddhist Hospital
Kowloon West Cluster Lai King Building, Princess Margaret Hospital
New Territories East Cluster Cheshire Home, Shatin
New Territories West Cluster Tin Ka Ping Infirmary, Pok Oi Hospital

Hospital staff will contact patients' family members for explanation of special visiting arrangement and scheduling the visits. Family members are NOT required to call the hospitals for booking themselves. Visitors are required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result and fill in the health declaration form before the visit. For more information, please visit:

The arrangement will be reviewed with due consideration to the latest epidemic situation and will be further extended to other hospitals and wards if the situation allows. Meanwhile, other hospitals and wards will continue to facilitate compassionate visiting arrangements and video visiting as far as practicable.
