To maintain proper functioning of infection control provisions and upkeep of hygienic environment in hospitals, particularly during pandemic situations, for ensuring the health and safety of patients and staff; HA launches an infection control and hygienic environment enhancement programme to carry out periodic overhaul of clinical facilities such as operating theatres, negative pressure isolation wards, etc. and to upgrade / replace ventilation provisions, drainage systems and other infection control related facilities.
