Construction of a decanting building at existing car park area of Princess Margaret Hospital

To facilitate the decanting arrangement of the buildings proposed for demolition, a decanting building is  built at the ex-car park area of Princess Margaret Hospital under the phase 1 redevelopment of Kwai Chung Hospital project. Non-clinical services, mainly offices, stores and supporting services, etc have already been relocated to the decanting building.

The construction works for the decanting building commenced in June 2016 and substantially completed in July 2018.
