Tin Shui Wai Hospital The Hospital Authority proposed in 2012 to construct a new hospital in Tin Shui Wai to meet the
service demand growth of the area with an expanding population.

The Tin Shui Wai Hospital (TSWH) will serve as an acute hospital to provide A&E, in-patient,
ambulatory and community care services to the new town. Together with Tuen Mun Hospital
and Pok Oi Hospital, medical services in the New Territories West Cluster will
be greatly enhanced when the service at TSWH commences.

The construction was completed in September 2016 and the new hospital commenced
the first phase of patient services in January 2017.
