Courtyard atrium - A green place for social exchange

The courtyard atrium on the sixth floor characterises the design theme of the Ambulatory Block, providing a comfortable environment that encourages social interactions among different users.

The courtyard itself is an environmental-friendly feature. Instead of using air-conditioning system for ventilation, pivoting glazed doors and motorized windows high above the courtyard allow natural ventilation.

Comprehensive barrier free facilities are provided for the disabled, such as ramps, tactile guide paths and, braille map.
