The Yaumatei Specialist Clinic Yaumatei Specialist Clinic (YMTSC) at Battery Street, Yau Ma Tei is situated along the proposed tunnel alignment of Centre Kowloon Route (CKR), so it has to be demolished to make way for the construction. In relation, the vacated old Specialist Out-patient Clinic Building at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) has been identified as a suitable site for the construction of a new specialist clinic for reprovisioning the affected services and facilities of YMTSC. The opportunity is also taken to strengthen and enhance the existing facilities and ambulatory care services of QEH.  

The construction was completed in October 2016 and the new building is named “Ambulatory Care Centre (Extension) / Block T”. The Centre commenced the first phase of patient services in December 2016.
